South Area Fire and Emergency Response District covers Fire and/or EMS response for Weston, Rib Mountain, and others.

Mission To provide for the safety and health of our South Area Fire/EMS Response District communities and our visitors through professional emergency response, fire prevention and public education.

Description South Area Fire and Emergency Response District provides Fire and/or EMS and rescue operations to the Town of Rib Mountain, Village and Town of Weston, Village of Kronenwetter and Towns of Easton, Ringle, Guenther, Stettin, and Marathon. The district began operations Jan 1, 2014 and operates of stations in Rib Mountain and Weston. Both stations are fully staffed 24 hours a day 365 days a year. EMS Population served is over 36,000 people and almost 300 square miles covered. First due Fire coverage is 26,000 people and over 125 square miles covered.
