Plan Commission Agenda Item Submittal Deadline
If you wish to submit for review a site plan, development plan, certified survey map (with right-of-way dedication), requesting a rezone, conditional use, or comprehensive plan map/text amendment, please be aware that there are specific deadlines that must be met in order to have your request brought before an upcoming Plan Commission Meeting.

About the Commission
The Plan Commission is responsible for reviewing all proposed plats, certified survey maps (CSMs), commercial and multifamily site plans, signs, and residential business permits in the village. They also conduct the required public hearings for conditional use permit and rezoning requests. The Plan Commission's mission is to advise the Village Board and village departments on broad planning goals, policies and plans for the future physical development of the village. Our guiding principles include:
  • Achieve long-range goals based on consistent and equal implementation of village codes and policies
  • Remaining accessible to the public's right to open and respectful communication regarding village policies and programs
  • Provide policy recommendations to the Village Board concerning the village's subdivision regulations and Zoning Code
  • Advise the Village Board on the best use of village lands for the benefit of the village and its residents
