Pet Licensing
With the new year once again comes the responsibility of all pet owners to license their pets within their municipality. There are many great reasons to license your pets, but the most important reason is that it is the law. Wisconsin Statutes require that all dogs be licensed over five months of age. By licensing your pet, you are ensuring an easier way for your pet to find its way home should your pet be lost. It also ensures the safety of the community as licensed pets must have a rabies vaccination. March 31 is the last day to license your pet before a late fee is applied. The Village of Weston has teamed up with PetData to help you license and ensure that your furry loved one is safe.
If you have any questions regarding elections or pet licensing, please reach out to our clerk’s department at 715-359-6114 or clerks@westonwi.gov.
