Partisan Primary Election Recap

The August Partisan Primary is over! The Village of Weston had a 34 percent turnout both at the polls and absentee. The results for the Village were as follows:

Ballots Cast – Total 2,850
Ballots Cast – Democratic 1,285
Ballots Cast – Republican 1,529
Ballots Cast – Constitution 1
Ballots Cast – Libertarian 5
Ballots Cast – Wisconsin Green 2
Ballots Cast – Nonpartisan 28

We now look forward to the General Election in November! Registering for the November election can be completed on the My Vote Wisconsin website as well as applying for an absentee ballot. We are expecting a high turnout in November; if you are new to the Village or have had a change of address within the Village, or a change of name, registering prior to Election Day will save you time.

The Village will be holding in-person absentee voting hours two weeks prior to Election Day which will include a Saturday. Please check our website for absentee hours in October of 2024

As you may know, the Village of Weston is undergoing a complete revaluation of all property, to be completed in 2024. Due to changing real estate values coupled with the fact that it has been seventeen years since the Village has had any updating done to its assessment records, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue has mandated that the Village revalue all properties for assessment year 2024.
