Street Closure

The contractor is working on Ryan Street and Commerce Drive without the need to close that intersection.  Residents will still be able to access the Yard Material Compost Site by taking Ryan Street, however there may be delays when doing so.  Thank you for your patience.

WM closed

With the road construction going on at Fuller St., the Recycling Drop-off at the Waste Management site will be temporarily closed. We will update when it’s available to use again. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Fall Yard Material Pick-Up Map

The 2025 Fall Yard Pickup is scheduled for the months of October and November, 2025.

Materials MUST be out to the roadside by 7 AM on the scheduled day of pickup. Please click on the map above to see what dates pickup will occur in your neighborhood.

Updates

Would you like to be alerted of e-newsletters, agendas that are posted, road construction updates, water main breaks, snow emergencies, etc. in the Village of Weston?  

This is an excellent tool provided to our community to be alerted to various happenings in the community!  The process to get signed up is as follows:

1. Go to www.westonwi.gov
2. Hover over "How Do I" and click "Get Notified"
3. Click "E-Notifications"
4. Type your email in the box and select "Sign In"
5. If you want to  text messages also, enter your phone number and click "save"
6. Scroll down and click the envelope or phone icon or both for whatever you would like to receive.  
7. Click "Save"
8. Don't forget to reply to the email and text message confirmation you will receive to confirm you want to be signed up.

Public Works Report

Updates for current roadway projects:


Schofield Ave (Normandy St to Birch St):
- Week of 9/8: Continue working on street grading, traffic signals and concrete work along the eastbound lanes.

-Week of 9/15: Continue with concrete work, road grading if needed, traffic signals and potentially restoration.

Weston Ave (CR-X to Ryan St):
- Week of 9/8
: Water and sewer service lateral installation will continue from Heeren going east.  Grading crew will be working from roughly the ATC powerline heading then west towards Heeren.  Rock blasting east of Lindenwood Ct is expected to start Monday.

- Week of 9/15: Sewer and water installation will then continue once blasting is complete between Lindenwood Ct and Ryan St.  Grading crew will continue building the road between the ATC powerline and Heeren St.

 Fuller St:
- Week of 9/8: North of Thomas Ave the crew will be working on restoration of grass areas.  Then between Schofield Ave and Moyer, storm sewer installation and watermain installation will continue near the Waste Management area north towards Moyer.  The grading crew will be working on getting the road built once the utility crew completes the underground work.

- Week of 9/15: Work should primarily be then on the southern portion as pipework between Waste Management and Moyer gets completed.  

Business Park Paving (Commerce Dr and Ryan St):
- Week of 9/8: Paving of Commerce Dr from Ryan St to Rickyval St is planned along with structure adjustments on Ryan St.

- Week of 9/15: Pulverizing of Ryan St and work on getting the road graded out.

Asphalt Overlay Projects:
Asphalt overlays are planned for the below streets.  Crews have or will be completing prep work ahead of the overlay paving which includes adjusting all manholes and water valves within the pavement as well as milling along the curb lines or driveways. Paving of these areas is anticipated to be the week of 9/15.

  • Post Ave (West of BUS 51)
  • Cortez, Coronado and Lawndale (North of Jelinek)
  • Terrier and Birchwood Ln (South of Jelinek)
  • Prairie St and Westfair St (West of Mesker)
  • Alex St (West of Sandy Ln)
  • Michael Dr
  • Cheryl Dr
  • Jacob St
  • Twin Pines Ln
  • Morning View (East of Twin Pines)
  • Babl Ln (East of Twin Pines)
  • Saxon Ave
  • Regent St
  • Meridian St
  • Jean Ellen St
  • Sternberg Ave (Scott St to Mesker St)

Shorey Ave Repaving (County Road X to Anastasia Dr): Paving of Shorey is expected to take place on Tuesday 9/9 and Wednesday 9/10.
