Refuse & Recycling Update

We are excited to announce that all our BRAND NEW Harter’s garbage and recycling carts are here, and being temporarily stored at our Public Safety Building. This amounts to 5,077 sets of carts!

At any time now, Sierra Container Group should be starting to deliver the carts to all the households, with a goal of having them all delivered by Christmas.

Please remember, when you receive your Harter’s carts, just set them aside until after January 1^st, as we still have almost two weeks of service left with Waste Management.

Over the next few weeks Waste Management will be emptying and collecting recycling and garbage carts. This will be done via the recycling and garbage trucks coming through to empty the carts, followed by a truck and trailer collecting those carts that are scheduled to be taken.
