Building to Serve

Weston Wisconsin is Building to Serve

By now, you've probably heard the Village is back on track with plans to replace our municipal center, including consolidating several buildings into one central location for improved operational efficiency and coordination of service delivery.

To share information with everyone as we move along, the Village Board has appointed an Ad Hoc Building Committee comprised of village officials and Weston residents to:

  1. Review the history of the project
  2. Review the condition of existing facilities
  3. Provide input on building design
  4. Provide input on public relations materials and assist staff with public outreach
  5. Report their findings/recommendations to the Village Board

All the items above are now in full swing, details of which will be shared here as well as digitally on social media, email blasts, press releases and other mediums as deemed necessary. The Building Committee has met weekly since mid-October and will continue to meet as needed.  For those who are interested, access to meetings is available through Zoom. Details for future meetings will be listed on agendas which will be posted here as they become available.  Minutes of previous meetings can also be found in the agenda center.

For now, please feel free to check out current information on the project history, and why are we building.
