Driveway Addition/Resurfacing

  • All driveway permits require a site plan showing the proposed paved area and lot lines and setbacks. Gravel is not an approved driveway material except in specific open space zoning districts.
  • All new driveways, driveway expansions, and resurfacing require a permit. Seal coating does not require a permit.
  • Driveway Addition is considered an expansion on an existing driveway.
  • Driveway Resurfacing is tearing up old pavement and replacing it with new pavement where there is no change in driveway layout.
