The Village of Weston is preparing to update its 2016 Comprehensive Plan, a guiding document that shapes our community’s growth, development, and quality of life for the next 10–20 years. This plan reflects our shared vision for the future, covering land use, housing, transportation, parks and recreation, economic development, and community services.

Why Update the Comprehensive Plan?

Communities are always evolving. Updating the plan ensures that Weston continues to grow in ways that reflect residents’ priorities, respond to changing needs, and make the Village an even better place to live, work, and play. The plan provides a framework for future decisions about land use, infrastructure, environmental stewardship, and public services.

Get Involved

Your input is essential! Residents, business owners, and community stakeholders are invited to participate throughout the planning process. Public engagement opportunities will include:

• Community workshop, small group stakeholder meetings and open houses
• Online surveys and interactive mapping tools
• Public hearings and Village Board/Plan Commission Steering Committee meetings
