Schofield Avenue Reconstruction – Traffic Update
Alderson Street will be closed to traffic just south of Schofield Avenue from Monday, July 28th through Friday, August 1st.
There are a few local streets that provide access to Alderson Street south of Schofield Avenue. Please plan to use our local streets to arrive at your destination.
Depending on the time of day, traffic may be busier along Schofield Avenue and may make left hand turns at Schofield Avenue difficult. It is recommended that residents plan accordingly and utilize other public streets to travel to their destinations to reduce the impact to through traffic on Schofield Avenue.
The Contractor will be removing concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, constructing new water main, traffic signal bases, replacing sanitary sewer, and temporary pavement on the south side of the intersection.
